Tony Eggington, Mayor of Mansfield wielded the ceremonial scissors and raised his glass of champagne to officially open the new Hall-Fast trade shop which is located on Anglia Way, off Southwell Road, Mansfield.
Over 100 customers, suppliers and local trades people called in during the open day to see demonstrations and displays from many of the leading industrial supplies and workwear brands such as Dickies, Snickers, Karcher and DeWalt. Also in attendance were Nottingham Rugby Club players and club mascot Archie the Stag who gave away family tickets to a home game at Meadow Lane.
The new premises which comprise 5,500 square feet of office and warehouse space also includes a new and extended 980 sq ft trade counter. Hall-Fast have opened the new trade shop to improve the convenience for trade customers to buy their range of industrial supplies products which include fastenings, drill bits, tools, abrasives, work wear, access equipment, personal protection equipment, office furniture and janitorial supplies.
Commenting, Managing Director Malcolm Hall said, “The trade day was a tremendous success. Those that came saw first hand that we only stock the leading brands because it means our customers are buying reliable products that will outlast cheaper alternatives at real value for money prices”
Hall-Fast was established in 2006 to supply automotive fastenings to the automotive industry with parts specified on Bentley, Aston Martin, Lotus, Jaguar, Caterpillar and JCB vehicles. Since then the company has expanded its product range to over 45 million stocked items, representing 48,000 standard product lines, servicing local customers as well as now exporting to over 75 countries. Next month Hall-Fast launches a new e-commerce website www.-hall-fast.com to further expand its on-line business.
