Anglia Way based Hall-Fast are celebrating a record breaking year with sales 28% up on the previous year.
The family business was set up from a back bedroom on the 1st August 2006 and now has a standard range of 610,000 items which are supplied Globally into 110 overseas markets, export sales accounted for 15% with online sales being 40% of turnover
Hall-Fast’s online search impression share within the period was third highest behind Global giants Amazon and eBay and much higher than many other multi-national competitors in the UK giving the company huge opportunities for future expansion within UK markets when an aggressive strategy to increase market share is implemented.
Owner Malcolm Hall highlights the firms huge investment in a new website with an integrated ERP solution as the foundation to this success. He said "the future has never been brighter for us, we have a very healthy order book and the infrastructure in place that can accommodate our plans for 30% growth year on year and I would like to thank our customers, suppliers and community partners as we enter our 14th year of trading’’
