The event was attended by 55 people who enjoyed an Indian buffet, great entertainment and took part in a raffle and auction.
Mr Hall pictured, left, with Faz Choudhury, of The Mint, and David Jackson, of Nottingham Rugby Club, commented ‘’the night was a huge success, it was a relatively easy event for us to organise and a lot of money was raised for two great charities!’’
Jackson, who retired from professional rugby last year after suffering a head injury in training, has joined forces with Hall-Fast as they aim to raise more than £30,000 over the next 12 months with the final amount being split 50/50 between the two charities.
It is hoped that half of this figure will come from the Hall-Fast Charity Ball which takes place on Friday 29th May 2015, with the other half being raised from a gruelling physical challenge in April 2015 and other charity events that are planned.
