The third annual Hall-Fast Charity Ball will take place on Friday 29 May 2015 at the John Fretwell Complex near Mansfield.
Multi-award winning industrial supplies firm Hall-Fast has teamed up with the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce to deliver the event, which will feature all of the glitz and glamour of the past two years, with a bit of extra sparkle thrown in.
Mansfield’s Fountaindale SEN School, which helps youngsters aged three to 19 years with physical and sensory needs, will again be a beneficiary of Hall-Fast’s fundraising efforts over the next 12 months. Next year’s event will also raise money for Headway UK - the brain injury association, which works to improve life after brain injury. The Nottingham-based charity has a network of more than 100 groups and branches across the UK
Hall-Fast intends to raise more than £30,000 over the next 12 months and have joined forces with former Nottingham Rugby legend David Jackson to achieve this, with the final amount being split 50/50 between the two charities.
It is hoped that half of this figure will come from the Hall-Fast Charity Ball, with the other half being raised from a gruelling physical challenge in April 2015 and other charity events that are planned, including charity curry nights and events with Hall-Fast’s North Nottinghamshire community partners, Nottingham Rugby and ice hockey club the Sheffield Steelers.
Hall-Fast owner Malk Hall said: ‘’I’m really pleased that the events team at our Chamber of Commerce is organising next year’s Hall-Fast Charity Ball. They have a wealth of experience of organising events and with an ever-growing membership of 3,800 firms, the awareness of both charities will be raised further afield.
“We also hope that our fellow Chamber members from across the three counties will purchase tickets or sponsor what is now widely-recognised as North Nottinghamshire’s most prestigious annual event.’’
Seventy tickets have already been reserved and a number of sponsors have again given their support to the event, including Greene King, Mansfield Town FC, A Star Media, Brunts Academy and A1 Flue Systems.
If you would like to reserve a table of 10, buy individual tickets, or become a sponsor of this high profile event, please contact Chamber’s events team on (01332) 851 280, or email Jenny.Markland@dnlcc.co.uk.
