The SteadyStep features a precisely calibrated 5mm anatomic heel-to-toe drop — a shallower gradient than many standard insoles, specifically engineered to optimise weight distribution and posture during prolonged stationary work. By supporting the natural alignment of the foot, ankle, knee, and lower back, the SteadyStep helps reduce the cumulative strain that builds up over a long day on your feet, even when you're not going anywhere.

The SteadyStep Insole is designed as a direct swap for the ActiveStep insole supplied with Fristads ComfortStep safety shoes and boots. Where the ActiveStep is optimised for a balance of walking and standing, the SteadyStep is specifically calibrated for workers whose role keeps them predominantly in one place. Swapping insoles takes moments and transforms the comfort profile of your footwear to match the demands of your job — no need to invest in entirely new footwear.
Constructed with Quality and Sustainability
The SteadyStep is built from a high-performance polyurethane compound — 50% of which is recycled — providing a resilient, supportive platform that holds its shape and cushioning properties through extended daily use. A polyester cover layer, carbon component for structure, and recycled EVA base complete a material stack designed for durability, performance, and a reduced environmental footprint. PFAS free throughout.
ESD-Approved for Electrostatic-Sensitive Environments
The SteadyStep Insole is antistatic and ESD-approved to IEC 61340-5-1:2024 when used together with compatible Fristads safety footwear, making it suitable for use in electronics manufacturing, laboratory environments, and other ESD-controlled workplaces. Metal free and PFAS free, with no compromises on workplace safety compliance.
