Draper Pneumatic/Hydraulic Motorcycle Lift, 450kg
The Draper MCL3 is the most versatile motorcycle lift table in the Draper range — a professional 450 kg, 2,200 x 680 mm workshop lift that operates on either a heavy-duty foot-operated hydraulic pump or a pneumatic pump system with controller. In a workshop already equipped with a compressed air supply, the pneumatic operation is faster, less physically demanding and better suited to high-throughput servicing where lifting and lowering dozens of bikes in a day would make a foot-operated hydraulic system genuinely tiring. For locations without a compressor, the hydraulic foot pedal works independently and just as effectively. The MCL3 adapts to the workshop rather than the other way around.
The specification matches the MCL2 across every dimension that matters for bike compatibility. The 2,200 x 680 mm all-steel table handles the same range of large touring bikes, adventure bikes and cruisers, the full 180–815 mm lifting range covers the complete spectrum of working positions, and two preset working heights — 540 mm and 730 mm — give the operator a fast, repeatable choice between mid-height wheel and brake access and full standing-height engine and bodywork servicing. The 600 x 550 mm loading ramp accommodates wider wheelbase bikes with ease.
The same wheel servicing capability found on the MCL2 is built in throughout. The removable rear panel (690 x 245 mm) provides clean access to the rear wheel without removing the bike from the table, and the adjustable front wheel clamp with stop bar holds the front wheel securely for fork and headstock work across a full range of tyre widths. The safety table lock prevents accidental descent at either working height, and the stippled table surface maintains grip during motorcycle loading.
The base assembly carries transport wheels for repositioning between bays, with lockdowns securing the lift during use. At 141 kg all-steel construction, the MCL3 is a permanent workshop installation supplied in a wooden crate. The pneumatic inlet is a standard 1/4" BSP connection operating at 90 psi (6.2 bar) — compatible with typical workshop compressor output. Manufactured to the EN1494-2000 standard, it is the definitive choice for high-volume motorcycle workshops where every second of lifting time adds up.
Dual operation modes

Hydraulic — foot pedal
Heavy-duty foot-operated pump. Works without a compressed air supply. Ideal for lower-volume workshops and locations where no compressor is available.
Pneumatic — with controller
Air-powered operation via 1/4" BSP at 90 psi (6.2 bar). Faster, less physically demanding lifting. Suited to high-throughput professional workshops.
Key feature
- Dual operation — hydraulic foot pedal or pneumatic pump with controller, selectable to suit the workshop
- 450 kg (1,000 lb) capacity — handles large touring bikes, adventure bikes and cruisers
- 2,200 x 680 mm all-steel working table — full-length platform for the largest production motorcycles
- Two preset working heights at 540 mm and 730 mm — mid height for wheel work, standing height for engine and bodywork
- Full 180–815 mm lifting range — 815 mm maximum height for comfortable access to the top of tall bikes
- Pneumatic inlet: 1/4" BSP at 90 psi (6.2 bar) — connects to standard workshop compressor supply
- Removable rear panel (690 x 245 mm) — full rear wheel access without removing the bike
- Adjustable front wheel clamp and stop bar — holds a wide range of tyre widths securely
- Safety table lock — prevents accidental descent at any working height
- 600 x 550 mm loading ramp — wide entry for larger wheelbases
- Transport wheels with lockdowns — mobile when needed, locked solid during use
- EN1494-2000 certified, supplied in wooden crate
All steel construction operates on either heavy duty foot operated hydraulic pump or pneumatic pump system with controller and ram assembly. Safety table lock device to prevent accidental lowering. Adjustable front wheel clamp and wheel stop bar. Removable rear panel to facilitate rear wheel changes. Base assembly fitted with transport wheels and lock downs to prevent lift from moving whilst in use. Table surface is stippled for safety and grip whilst loading motorcycles.
