The Draper DSH2150 Jet Force Space Heater is the ultimate expression of portable industrial heating. Producing a staggering 215,000 BTU (62kW) of heat output across a suggested area of up to 35,000 cubic feet, it is by a considerable margin the most powerful heater in the entire Draper DSH range — capable of warming spaces that most portable heaters can barely touch.

Built for the very largest workshops, warehouses, agricultural buildings and major construction sites, the DSH2150 combines brute heating capacity with practical site intelligence. A fuel gauge provides at-a-glance tank monitoring, automatic ignition fires it instantly, and a photocell safety device keeps it running safely. The 50-litre tank and efficient combustion system deliver approximately 8.5 hours of continuous operation at full output.

Uniquely in the Draper range, the DSH2150 is a tri-fuel heater — compatible with diesel, kerosene and paraffin — giving maximum flexibility on fuel choice across any site or season. For applications where nothing less than maximum heating power will do, this is Draper's definitive large-space heater.

Key Features

The Highest Output in the Draper Range — 62kW / 215,000 BTU

At 62kW, the DSH2150 surpasses every other heater in the Draper DSH lineup — producing 22% more heat than the DSH1750 (51kW) and more than four times the output of the entry-level DSH450 (13kW). For spaces in the 20,000–35,000 cubic foot range that have consistently proved too large for standard site heaters, this is the purpose-built solution.

Covers Up to 35,000 Cubic Feet

The DSH2150's suggested coverage area of 35,000 cubic feet is the largest of any heater in the Draper range — 25% more than the DSH1750's 28,000 cu. ft. In practical terms, this covers a major warehouse bay, a large poultry or livestock building, a significant covered construction site interior, or a large events venue with adequate ventilation.

Tri-Fuel Compatibility: Diesel, Kerosene and Paraffin

The DSH2150 is the only heater in the Draper range to accept three fuel types — diesel, kerosene and paraffin. This tri-fuel capability makes it exceptionally versatile on site: use diesel for cost-efficiency on commercial sites, kerosene for cleaner burning in semi-enclosed environments, or paraffin where that's the most readily available or economical option. Note: Grade 2 or higher kerosene is required.

Fuel Gauge for Continuous Tank Monitoring

The built-in fuel gauge provides a continuous visual readout of remaining fuel — no guesswork, no lifting the unit, no removing caps. On a site running at full heating capacity, knowing when to refuel before the heater runs dry prevents costly warmth interruptions at critical moments. Across the Draper forced-air range, only the DSH751 also features a fuel gauge.

Maximum Airflow in the Range — 607m³/hr

The DSH2150's 607m³/hr airflow is the highest of any heater in the Draper DSH range. This high-volume air movement distributes heat rapidly and evenly across large open floor areas, preventing cold spots and maintaining consistent temperatures throughout the space.

Automatic Ignition

Automatic ignition fires the DSH2150 instantly and reliably at the press of a button — no manual procedures, no delay, consistent performance even in cold and damp conditions on site.

Photocell Safety Device

The photocell safety device monitors the combustion flame throughout operation. If the flame is extinguished for any reason, it immediately shuts down fuel delivery — preventing unburned fuel accumulation and ensuring safe operation, including during extended unattended running.

In-Line Fuel Filter

The in-line fuel filter maintains a clean, contaminant-free fuel supply to the burner at all times, protecting internal components and ensuring reliable ignition and efficient combustion across the heater's working life.

Why Choose the Draper DSH2150?

The DSH2150 exists for situations where output is the overriding requirement — where the space is simply too large, too draughty or too cold for any other portable heater to make a meaningful difference. Its 62kW output, 35,000 cu. ft coverage and 607m³/hr airflow place it in a different league from even the most capable mid-range site heaters.

The addition of paraffin to its fuel compatibility makes it uniquely versatile in the Draper range — useful on sites or in regions where diesel and kerosene aren't always the easiest fuels to source. The fuel gauge removes one more operational uncertainty. And at 27kg, it remains a one- or two-person lift despite its capacity.

For the hardest heating challenges — the biggest buildings, the coldest conditions, the longest shifts — the DSH2150 is Draper's most capable answer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the DSH2150 the most powerful heater in the Draper range? Yes — the DSH2150 produces 62kW / 215,000 BTU, making it the highest-output heater across the entire Draper DSH range, including all forced-air and infrared models.

What makes the DSH2150 different from the DSH1750? The DSH2150 delivers more raw output (62kW vs 51kW), covers a larger area (35,000 vs 28,000 cu. ft), produces higher airflow (607 vs 508m³/hr), accepts a third fuel type (paraffin), and includes a fuel gauge. The DSH1750 has thermostatic temperature control and a slightly longer runtime (~10 hours vs ~8.5 hours). Choose the DSH1750 for intelligent temperature management; choose the DSH2150 for maximum heating power and fuel flexibility.

What is tri-fuel compatibility? The DSH2150 runs on three fuels — diesel, kerosene and paraffin — unlike most heaters in the range which accept diesel and kerosene only. This gives greater flexibility on sites where fuel availability varies, or where paraffin offers a cost or logistical advantage.

What grade of kerosene is required? Grade 2 or higher kerosene is required. Standard 28-second heating kerosene typically meets this specification — always verify the grade with your fuel supplier before use.

Can the DSH2150 run on red diesel? Yes — the DSH2150 is compatible with diesel including red (agricultural/commercial) diesel, as well as kerosene and paraffin.

How long will a full tank last? At maximum consumption of 6.2L/hr, the 50-litre tank provides approximately 8.5 hours of continuous operation at full output. Unlike the thermostatic DSH1750, the DSH2150 does not modulate output, so runtime is more consistent with the stated figure.

How large a space will the DSH2150 heat? The DSH2150 is suggested for spaces up to 35,000 cubic feet. As a practical reference, this covers a large warehouse or agricultural building approximately 70ft x 50ft x 10ft, or a similarly proportioned space with good ventilation.

Is the DSH2150 safe to use inside a building? The DSH2150 is suitable for well-ventilated spaces only. It must not be used in sealed, airtight or poorly ventilated environments. Always ensure adequate natural ventilation before operating.
