Blocfor ESD Fall Arrest Block
Blocfor™ fall arrest block extends and retracts smoothly for freedom of movement and locks immediately in the event of a fall. The Blocfor ESD retractable fall arresters are equipped with an energy dissipater mounted at the end of the webbing. The dissipater ensures user impact in the event of a fall of less than 600 daN even when the webbing is fully unwound. The Extremity System Dissipater (ESD) reduces the dynamic load impacted on the user’s body in the event of a fall and protects the webbing from the risk of severing which could occur due to the sharp edges of terrace roofs.
- Conforms to EN360 and rated to VG11 CNB/P/11.060 for use over edges with a minimum 0.5mm curve radius.
- Rated for user weight up to 150kgs.
- Tough ABS fibre reinforced polyamide housing
- M47 swivel connector at the end of the dissipater
- Screw locking karabiner connector to fix to anchor point (other connectors available on request)
