PROline Tape Floor Marking
PROline Tape Floor Marking — Robust PVC Marking for Industry and Logistics
PROline is a heavy-duty self-adhesive floor marking system designed for warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants and busy logistics environments. Manufactured from high-grade PVC engineered to withstand pedestrian traffic, pallet trucks, forklifts and cleaning machines, the range covers continuous tape rolls plus a full set of pre-cut shapes — giving you everything needed to build a clear, durable floor layout without interrupting operations.
Whether you're zoning a new facility, refreshing worn lines or rolling out a temporary layout change, PROline lets your team mark up areas in hours rather than days — no paint, no curing time, no shutdown.
Why Choose PROline?
- Robust PVC for industrial loads — engineered to handle forklift, pallet truck and cleaning machine traffic
- Self-adhesive, quick to install — peel, position, press; no specialist installers required
- High visibility in all zones — bold safety colours and high-contrast hazard stripes that stay legible under floor lighting and LED warehouse fittings
- Supports safety distances — helps you mark walkways, segregation lines and exclusion zones to keep pedestrians and vehicles apart
- Flexibly combined for layouts — tape rolls and shaped pieces work together to build any layout you need
- No operating stop during installation — work continues around the install team; no drying, no fumes, no overnight closures
Build Any Layout — The PROline Range
The PROline floor marking system is designed as a kit of parts. Each element has a clearly defined role, so warehouse and H&S teams can plan layouts with precision rather than compromising on what's available off the shelf.
Strips / Continuous Tape Rolls The backbone of the system. Use continuous PROline tape for linear routing, aisle definition, walkways, vehicle lanes and longitudinal zone boundaries. Available in solid safety colours and diagonally striped hazard versions for warnings and no-go areas.
X-Pieces Mark precise centre points or blocking points — for example, the exact position a pallet, cage or item of equipment must occupy. Also used to indicate "do not stack here" or designated tool drop points.
T-Pieces Mark clear end points or junctions — where one walkway terminates, where two routes intersect, or where a controlled crossing point sits between an aisle and a work cell.
L-Pieces Precisely mark corners and area boundaries — perfect for defining the four corners of a storage bay, a pallet position, a charging point footprint or a designated cleaning station.
Dots Used as clear position markers, start/stop points and measurement references — for example, foot positions at workstations, queueing markers, or social distancing points in welfare areas.
By combining these elements, you can replicate complex floor plans straight from your facility drawing — without paint, stencils or contractors.
What PROline Floor Marking Is Used For
PROline is specified across UK industrial and commercial environments wherever clear, durable floor demarcation is required:
- Warehouses and distribution centres — racking aisles, pick faces, pedestrian walkways, vehicle routes, loading and dispatch zones
- Manufacturing plants — work cell boundaries, machine footprints, material flow lanes, finished goods bays
- Logistics yards and depots — internal vehicle routing, pallet drop areas, cage parks
- Cold stores and food production — hygienic zone demarcation (use colour-coded tape to separate raw, prep and finished areas)
- Workshops and engineering — tool kanban locations, work-in-progress zones, quality hold areas
- Retail back-of-house — stockroom routing, equipment parking, fire exit clearance
- Offices, schools and public buildings — walkways, room layouts, accessibility routing
Designed for the Way Industrial Sites Actually Work
Painted lines look good for a few months then need stripping and repainting — a job that usually means shutting an area down. PROline tape and shapes install while your team works around them, and they can be lifted and repositioned when processes change. The result is a floor marking system that keeps pace with how your facility evolves, rather than locking you into a layout you've already outgrown.

Is PROline floor marking tape suitable for forklift traffic? Yes. PROline is manufactured from heavy-grade PVC engineered for indoor industrial environments including forklift, pallet truck and cleaning machine traffic. To maximise service life, avoid turning vehicle wheels directly on a single point of tape — straight-line transit gives the longest life.
How long does PROline tape last? Service life depends on traffic volume, vehicle type and substrate. Used as intended on a clean, smooth indoor surface, PROline is a long-term marking solution suitable for permanent installations.
Do I need a special tool to install it? No specialist tools are required, but a tape applicator (such as a TAPEliner) significantly speeds up long runs by holding the roll, dispensing the tape and pressing it down in one pass. Hand application works perfectly well for shorter runs and shaped pieces.
Will PROline tape come up cleanly when removed? PROline is a long-life, strong-adhesion product designed for durable marking, not for temporary removable use. On suitable surfaces, removal is achievable but may require gentle heat and adhesive remover, and is not guaranteed to be residue-free. For frequently reconfigured layouts, consider this when planning.
Can I install PROline tape over an existing painted line? Yes, provided the underlying paint is fully cured, well-bonded to the floor and clean. The tape adheres best to a smooth, dust-free, oil-free surface — sweep, vacuum and degrease before application.
What colours are available? PROline is available in a range of bold safety colours plus diagonally striped hazard warning versions (yellow/black, red/white) for caution and no-go areas. Striped tapes are laminated to protect the print surface.
Can I combine the shapes with continuous tape? Yes — the system is specifically designed to mix. Use rolls for linear runs, then add L-pieces at corners, T-pieces at junctions, X-pieces at fixed positions and dots for individual markers.
Will installation interrupt operations? No. PROline self-adhesive tape and shapes install without paint, primer or curing time — there are no fumes or wet edges, so your team can continue working around the marking crew.
