Safety tips for the office:

-  Use ergonomic chairs and adjust chairs, desks and monitors to meet ergonomic guidelines - this increases health whilst boosting happiness and productivity.

- Adjust monitor brightness to suit the lighting conditions of the room you work in.

- Keep your head 40-70cm away from your monitors.

- Your line of vision should be 10-30 degrees looking down at your monitors.

- Your feet should rest flat to the floor when at your desk. If they don't, consider purchasing a footrest.

- Forearms should be horizontal when typing and wrists should be straight. Adjust your seat accordingly to meet these needs.

- Your backrest should fully support your back whilst sitting well into your chair.

Safety tips for a warehouse:

- Ensure correct use of labelling on all liquids or chemicals.

- Ensure all staff receive appropriate training for lifting heavy goods.

- Designate separate areas for storage and limit how high each item can be stacked.

- Ensure all areas of the warehouse are well lit.

- Safety gloves are always advised; even if just picking and packing goods.

- Use steel-toed shoes to protect your feet - you never know when you may drop something heavy on them.

Outdoor work safety tips:

- Ensure you're always wearing adequate PPE.

- Drink enough cold fluids when working in the heat, and consume warm beverages when working in the cold.

- Educate workers about the dangers of heat or cold stress.

- Use sunscreen of at least SPF15 whenever skin is exposed to the sun.

- Take or encourage frequent rest breaks.
