Draper Manual Tyre Changer
The Draper MTC100 is a portable, all-steel manual tyre changer designed for mechanics and enthusiasts who need a capable tyre changing solution on site, at home or in a workshop that doesn't justify the cost and footprint of a machine changer. The complete kit includes a manual bead breaker and tyre iron — everything needed to break the bead and change a tyre on most open-centred wheels without the need for compressed air, electricity or a fixed installation.
The bead breaker handles the hardest part of any manual tyre change — unseating the tyre bead from the rim — which is where improvised levers and brute force typically lead to damaged wheels or injury. With a dedicated bead breaker in the kit, that stage becomes controlled and repeatable. All-steel construction throughout means the MTC100 stands up to regular use without flexing or failing under the leverage loads that tyre changing demands.
Suitable for most open-centred wheels including motorcycle, ATV, trailer and standard car rims in steel. It is worth noting that alloy wheels require particular care — the steel tools can mark or damage soft alloy rims if not used with appropriate protection, and Draper does not accept responsibility for damage to unsuitable wheels. For alloy wheel changing, rim protectors are recommended.
Compact and portable enough to carry in a van or store in a corner of a garage, the MTC100 is a practical solution for anyone who changes tyres regularly enough to need their own kit but infrequently enough that a workshop machine changer is hard to justify.
