The Draper Expert PJ50 is the most powerful pneumatic jack in the entire Draper range — a twin stage industrial jack rated to 50 tonnes (50,000 kg) that sets the absolute ceiling for what air-powered lifting equipment in this format can deliver. Where the PJ40SC handles the heaviest HGV axle loads, the PJ50 steps beyond them into the territory of the largest articulated vehicles, multiple-axle heavy haulage, industrial presses, structural lifting and any application where 40 tonnes falls short. It is a tool for specialists who have exhausted every other option.

The twin stage lifting system is scaled to match the PJ50's industrial scope. Stage one reaches a maximum height of 450 mm (including the supplied 45 mm and 75 mm extensions), with stage two extending to a generous 564 mm — significantly taller than the 409 mm ceiling of the PJ30P and PJ40SC, and well-matched to the ground clearances of the largest commercial vehicles and heavy plant. Each stage delivers approximately 115 mm of stroke, with the 215 mm minimum entry height reflecting the substantial chassis required to support loads at this scale.

Despite its 73 kg working weight and 805 mm chassis length, the PJ50 retains the practical portability that defines the pneumatic jack format. The 3-stage adjustable ergonomic handle gives the operator full control over working position across all vehicle types, while the handle-mounted "Slow Down" valve delivers precise, progressive lowering control when settling 50-tonne loads — a safety-critical feature at this capacity that standard pneumatic jacks do not offer. The "Self-Return" switch eliminates the effort of manually resetting the ram between lifts, maintaining operational pace across extended working sessions.

Industrial quality seals throughout protect the hydraulic circuit against the demands of high-cycle use, and the twin 165 mm rubber-coated wheels allow smooth, controlled repositioning between axle stations without marking workshop floors. A standard 1/4" BSP airline at 9–12 BAR (130–174 psi) connects to existing workshop compressor infrastructure. Manufactured, tested and certified to the EN1494 standard, the PJ50 is for operations where nothing less will do.
