Draper Expert Pneumatic Jack, 30 Tonne

The Draper Expert PJ30P redefines what a high-capacity jack can be. Air-powered, compact and weighing just 30 kg, it delivers a staggering 30 tonne (30,000 kg) lifting capacity — three times the output of the largest hydraulic trolley jack in the range — while remaining genuinely portable. For HGV fleets, bus and coach operators, agricultural and plant machinery workshops, and any industrial environment where compressed air is already available, the PJ30P transforms what a single operator can safely lift and work beneath.

The twin stage lifting system provides two independently useful positions. Stage one delivers a 343 mm maximum height (including the supplied extensions), while stage two extends this to 409 mm — covering the full range of heavy commercial vehicle axle and chassis heights from a 150 mm minimum entry. Both the supplied 45 mm and 75 mm height lift extensions are included as standard, giving immediate flexibility without additional accessories to source separately.

Two features set the PJ30P apart from basic pneumatic jacks in terms of operator safety and control. The ergonomic handle-mounted "Slow Down" valve gives the operator precise, progressive control over the rate of lowering — critical when settling a heavy axle load onto stands or ground. The "Self-Return" switch returns the ram smoothly and automatically once the load is removed, eliminating the manual effort of manually resetting the jack between lifts and significantly speeding up repetitive operations across a working day.

Industrial quality seals throughout the ram and pump circuit extend the working life of the jack well beyond what standard seals would offer in a high-cycle commercial environment. Twin rubber-coated wheels ensure quiet, smooth operation and protect workshop and garage floors from marking. The jack connects via a standard 1/4" BSP airline connector and operates within a 9–12 BAR (130–174 psi) air pressure range. Manufactured, tested and certified to the EN1494 standard, the PJ30P is the professional choice when hydraulic simply isn't enough.
