The 550W variable speed motor covers an impressively wide speed range of 650 to 3800rpm, giving you the low-end torque needed for roughing cuts and the high-speed finesse required for sanding and finishing — all from a single compact unit. The digital display mounted directly on the headstock keeps your chosen speed clearly in view throughout, removing the guesswork from speed selection.

At 457mm between centres and with a 305mm diameter turning capacity, the WTL457 is perfectly suited to bowls, boxes, pens, handles, and a wide range of small to medium spindle work. The heavy duty cast iron bed provides the rigidity and mass that serious turning demands, absorbing vibration and delivering the smooth, stable cut you'd expect from a much larger machine.
