Description:

The Electac Portable Welding Fume Filters are exceptionally useful in many environments for filtering welding and dust particles in a range of environments. They are extremely flexible and portable allowing easy use in various environments and are great for easily moving around.

We have a variety of filters and accessories suitable for various workplaces to ensure dust and chemical particles which are highly popular in many environments especially where welding takes place are safely filtered to reduce hazard to health.

• A comprensive and effective range of welding and dust filters. The MT800NI & MT900NI are used when portability and flexibility are required.
• Both machines can be used with nozzles with magnets or because they use bye-pass motors, they are ideal for MIG torch extractors such as Binzel RAB range or Starpart's SF range.
• The well proven filtration system uses a course filter/spark trap to capture sparks and heavy particles. The main disposable filter cartridge captures the fine particulate. Apart from the standard cartridge (FES), a high efficiency cartridge (99.996% efficient-FEH) and a standard cartridge that incorporates active carbon elements for gases and ozone (FEC).
• The MT800NI uses a single motor and fan, and the MT900NI uses two motor/fan units for increased suction and performance.
• A major cause of premature failure in portable filter units is that they run too hot due to not enough air passing through the motors, particularly when they are used with MIG extractor torches or collection from grinding operations. To prevent this happening, Electac use bye pass motors, which take a separate supply of air to cool the motors from that passing through the filter system.
