Website Admin Apprentice

Based: Southwell Road, Mansfield, Notts
Salary: To be Confirmed
Working Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday - Friday

Hall-Fast are looking to appoint an apprentice who will support office colleagues with a variety of tasks. Your main focus will be to ensure prices and product range information is kept up to date and accurate on Hall-Fast’s websites. This requires you to have good data entry speed and accuracy as well as a high level of attention to detail. You will be adding images, descriptions and appropriate wording which will increase the products SEO. You will be supported to undertake a business administration apprenticeship which will be delivered both on the job & via distance learning.

Ideally you will be familiar with Photoshop or a similar package and be a confident user of MS Word and Excel. You will be working as part of a young and dynamic team in a friendly and supportive environment.

Hall-Fast are keen that you will remain with the company once you have completed your apprenticeship

Position: Office and Trade Shop Assistant
Based: Southwell Road, Mansfield, Notts

Working Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday – Friday

Due to expansion and the planned refurbishment of our DIY & Trade Essentials Trade Shop in December, Hall-Fast have a new position that we are currently recruiting for to assist our current team in our busy sales office and trade shop.

This is an exciting new and varied role and demands the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining high standards .

Your main duties would include assisting customers, keeping the trade shop stocked and tidy, stocktaking and placing replenishment orders, raising invoices and handling related admin, as well as promoting products and special offers to visiting trade customers and members of the general public. The adding of clearance products to EBay and monitoring and processing of orders will also be a key daily task

You will also undertake general administration of the website , monitoring prices , adding new products and updating existing products (with over 200,000 products on our site this is an ongoing daily task) In addition our sales office requires support with processing orders , answering incoming calls and general administrative support. You will also be required to pick and pack online orders at busy times.

This role would suit applicants with previous retail , admin and sales experience with good IT skills, and confidence working with figures. Previous experience of using and listing items on EBay, Sage, Excel is beneficial but not essential.

Warehouse Operative and Administrator

Based on Anglia Way Industrial Estate in Mansfield, Hall-Fast supplies an extensive range of 200,000 items to a growing customer base of 22,500 locally, nationwide and in 92 overseas markets.

Due to expansion of our business, we have a new position that we are currently recruiting for to assist us in our busy warehouse. This is a varied role and demands the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining high standards and in accordance with our ISO:9001 Quality assurance procedures.

Your main duties would include processing goods in and out using our sage system. Booking in and checking goods in from our many suppliers. Picking, invoicing and despatching goods to our customers and handling related administration. Liaising with suppliers and customers, managing related paperwork, invoices and credit notes.

This role would suit applicants with previous warehousing experience but also with strong administration and IT skills, ideally with previous experience of using sage and excel. Good communication, organisation and customer service skills and a proven track record with previous employers in a similar role is essential.

The ability to multi task and to work under pressure in a small team environment, often working unsupervised is a pre requisite.
