In metal processing, smoke and gases are created by welding, cutting and associated processes and are classed as hazardous substances according to current regulations. Welding fumes are a health hazard and in parts may even cause cancer and cause genetic alterations. For more than 35 years, welders have been relying on the effective welding fumes extraction by KEMPER. Every extraction and filter plant by KEMPER collects the welding fumes very effectively and filters even ultra-fine dust particles safely and reliably from contaminated air.
An extensive range of standard Kemper products are available from Hall-Fast that have been designed for a variety of applications such as mobile welding smoke filter units, general ventilation systems, exhaust arms and fans, extraction and grinding tables, partitioning and sound insulating wall systems, extraction hoods and cabins

Today is the 10th anniversary of Hall-Fast; the business has come a very long way in the ten years since we commenced trading from a back bedroom of the family home.
We are really proud of what we have achieved since 2006 and we are equally proud that the success of our business has enabled us to do our bit for others in the local community and further afield.
Thinking back to sitting in the garden on a very sunny day on 1st August 2006 I could not imagine that the business would be as successful as it is today, over the years we have won 29 major business awards and we now supply a standard range of 200,000 items to a growing customer base of 19,500 customers in 90 overseas markets.
A huge thank you to all of our customers, suppliers, staff past and present, community partners and friends and family of Hall-Fast for your contribution to our success, it is very much appreciated.
We have very ambitious plans for the next twelve months and we are really looking forward to the future!

Work shorts are the ideal alternative to work trousers for warehouse operatives, people who work outdoors like gardeners and postman or for tradespeople, in the summer months when hopefully the weather is hot or warmer than average.
There are a variety of different styles to choose including standard shorts, to multi-pocket shorts, or pirate trousers which are in reality shorts that go over the knees.
Shorts are available in a variety of colours, styles and sizes; some have patterns like camo shots and Bermuda shorts, however the most popular shorts are navy or black, other colours like white shorts are trade specific with white shorts being popular for painters. Some shorts are designed for use with knee pads; these are usually the longer pirate shorts and are typically used by tradesmen such as tilers who kneel frequently.
Most of the leading brands have a range of work shorts, one of the most popular are the Dickies Redhawk Cargo Shorts. Mansfield based Hall-Fast sell so many of these that they hold extensive stocks so they can either be collected or despatched on the day of ordering.
Other popular branded shorts that are available from Hall-Fast include Helly Hansen, Portwest, Fristads Kansas, Snickers and DeWalt.
