BigBond High Grab is a very high strength, high viscosity single-component MS Polymer adhesive for use in surface-mounting BigHead fasteners onto most substrates, and in:
- Structural bonding between metals, coated surfaces, most plastics and composites.
- Structural bonding in constructions where vibration is a permanent issue.
- Powerful, safe bonding agent for general use in the Building and Construction industries.
- Connection joints in sheet metal fabrication, either in mild or stainless steels.
- Elastomeric bonding in cars, caravans, coaches, commercial vehicles, aerospace & transport.
- General use in signmaking, retail displays & interiors, and external cladding applications
Preparation: To ensure the highest possible performance we recommend the use of BigBond Activator/Cleaner, to prime, clean and degrease both surfaces. For maximum adhesion on non-porous surfaces, remove all paint and other coatings and thoroughly abrade the substrate’s surface before degreasing. High Grab has a strong, instantaneous initial grab, but please note that full strength can take up to 7 days curing, at 20º C. and 65% relative humidity |

| Spread a generous layer (2-4mm) of adhesive as shown; make sure the amount you apply will cover the whole head area of the BigHead to be fixed, for maximum strength. |

Press/rotate the BigHead firmly into the adhesive. Initial ‘grab’ is instant. Maximum strength takes up to 7 days of curing; increase in bond strength is progressive. |
